A Day in My Life!
Excel Project
This project will be a spreadsheet project about a day in your life. Yes, it's still all about you! This assignment should take approximately 2 class periods.
Part 1
Gather and Key in your Data

Make a table in Word about how you spend your average school day from the time you wake up one day until the alarm goes off the following morning. Below is an example of what it should look like. Your total time should be in minutes and when totaled should equal 1440 minutes (that's 24 hours times 60).

When you finish your table, you will put the numbers of minutes into an Excel spreadsheet using 6-8 categories and make a pie chart with the data.
Part 2
Analyse Your Data
Add another column and catagorize your data into categories such as
- Sleep
- Leisure
- School Related
- Eating
- Family Related
- Other
Now we will make graphs of your data.
